Mubarak’s Gone

In February, 2011, Jon Jensen reported from Cairo, Egypt, in the wake of the resignation of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, after 18 days of protests demanding his ouster. Mubarak had been Egypt’s leader for 30 years, and the protests in Egypt, centered on Cairo’s Tahrir Square, were a key event in the Arab Spring that swept the Middle East and North Africa in 2010 and 2011.
